Going Further with EFT · Seven-part course

Start gently, at your own pace
You can begin by learning the tapping points and trying them with a small, everyday frustration. There is no need to start with your hardest experience or search for an earlier memory.
Choose something you feel comfortable giving a little attention to while still noticing the room around you. Stay curious about what you notice, without needing a particular result.
You are in charge of the pace. You can pause, change your wording or finish at any time. Even a brief tapping practice can be worthwhile. Any easing in intensity, however small, is worth recognising. You do not have to reach zero or resolve everything in one sitting.
If you know an experience is traumatic or feels overwhelming to approach, leave that one for supported work with a qualified professional experienced in trauma. You can still use this guide to learn the basics.
If strong feelings or memories arise
Pause the exercise if you feel overwhelmed, disconnected from your surroundings, or as though a memory is happening again. Look around, notice a few objects near you, and bring your attention back to where you are now. You do not need to push through or work out what it means.
If you need help settling, reach out to someone you trust or find free support through the link below. You do not have to work through this alone.
You can stop at any point and come back another time. There is no need to push through or complete a full round.

Going Further with EFT
For going deeper after Let It Go.
This course sits alongside the three numbered steps. Start with Let It Go, my free Step 2 guide, which covers the tapping points, the basic sequence and a full guided round. Come here afterwards if you would like more help choosing a focus, working with aspects or knowing what to do when tapping does not move the way you expect.
Before you begin
1. Start with Let It Go. If you have not used the guide yet, open it first and get familiar with the tapping points and basic sequence.
2. Then come back here and begin with Part One. The seven course parts build on the guide and on one another, so the clearest route is to work through them in order.
Each part is short, written, and yours to read at your own pace. There’s nothing to log in to and nothing to keep up with.
One optional extra: use the EFT practice log if you like having somewhere to note what you tapped on, your starting number, and what changed. Use it whenever keeping a record helps.
Where to start
The gap between “I’m stressed” and something specific enough to actually tap on.
Finding the real issue
Why the thing you tap on and the real issue are often two different things.
When the number won't move
What it means when part of you isn’t ready to let the pattern go.
The next layer
Why a cleared feeling can come back looking different, and why that’s not a setback.
When something bigger surfaces
What to do if tapping brings up more than expected. Read this one in advance.
A practice, not another obligation
Making tapping small enough to actually keep doing.
Knowing when it's done
How to tell a round has done its work, and what to do from here.
